Huge new data set pushes limits of neuroscience
So many areas of our brain process sound, language and music that this new research seemed to fit here. Scientists are discovering more and more about the many complex ways different areas of our brain interact to accomplish tasks such as making music. Here's the Wired article: https://www.wired.com/story/a-huge-new-data-set-pushes-the-limits-of-neuroscience/, and here are the related publications from the Allen Institute for Brain Science: https://brainmapportal-live-4cc80a57cd6e400d854-f7fdcae.divio-media.net/filer_public/f7/06/f706855a-a3a1-4a3a-a6b0-3502ad64680f/visualbehaviorneuropixels_technicalwhitepaper.pdf, and https://allensdk.readthedocs.io/en/latest/visual_behavior_neuropixels.html.
