We discuss the "Mozart Effect" in chapter 9, including how it was abused to imply that you could make your child smarter by listening to Mozart! New research, however has shown that certain elements of a specific Mozart piece appear to be useful in preventing epileptic attacks. These elements seem to be directly related to tempo and beat changes in the music.
